Man allegedly assaults Chinese workers, gets bail

The 24-year-old Christiana man who has been charged with assaulting two Chinese workers on the Christiana Bypass Construction project in Manchester has been granted bail in the sum of $100,000.

Oral Green was granted bail this morning when he appeared in the Christiana Resident Magistrate?s Court.

He had been in custody since May 13 ? one day after he allegedly used a shovel to hurt two of his Chinese bosses during a wage dispute on the Christiana project.

Green is to return to court on June 27.
